Lignum tonearms

We have the tonearm Lignum designed to our turntable M1 to be optimally equipped. We also offer our tonearm for turntables from other manufacturers. It is available for installation on an SME base (standard) and also for other bases. In addition, it is possible to operate it as an additional tonearm with its own base. We offer that Lignum only in the 12,2 inch version, because we deliberately do without an anti-skating device. Even if your turntable has a 9 inch base, our 12,2 inch tonearm can be mounted on it. The Lignum is always beared at one point. We have additionally stabilized it for better handling. The VTA can even be readjusted during playback. It is possible to operate our tonearm with two different geometries - depending your preference, it is set rigid without offset angle or the angle according to Baerwald.

The tonearm Lignum is created to perfect music reproduction. We have equipped it with our Refine® technology. This makes it part of our philosophy, which is based on eliminating disruptive vibrations thanks to an optimal ratio of rigidity and damping. In physics one speaks of "supercritical damping". In this way, the tonearm cannot disturb the music playback signal through natural vibrations - the tonearm transmits the original signal from the recording without adding or omitting anything. A tonearm cannot do more.
